EV KARI'S HUMALONG 8W
Thank you, Fir River Livestock
High Seller @ $16,000

REG# CDGV132017 • Tattoo: EV8W • DOB: 02/01/2009

This gal certainly has proven herself with her first two calves. EV Mighty Dandy 8Y was one of the highest priced Gelbvieh bulls sold in Canada in 2012 and her daughter EV Kari-On 8Z will be on the show road this fall to highlight 8W’s consistency. Mighty Dandy will also be out this fall with his excited owner, Trevor Burks.

8W makes clean fronted, stylish calves while adding to their thickness and growth. 8W has a tremendous pedigree that includes some of the foundations herds in the Gelbvieh breed and foes right to the heart of our program. You can be sure that EV 8W is only starting her career and will have some great ones coming up. Certainly a flush candidate!

Vet believes EV8W to be safe to her April 27 AI breeding of JRI TOP RECRUIT 254U82.

EV PETUNIA 25P
Thank you, D G Smithers Holdings Inc.

REG# CDGV111161 • Tattoo: EV25P • DOB: 02/15/2004

Petunia 25P is a foundation cow that has given us tremendous calves, consistently. 25P is the dam of EV Dandy Boy 45W, Winner of the 2009 Canadian National People's Choice Bull Futurity as well as EV Miss Tunia T 75T Winner of the “Sweet Heart Classic” at Agribition in Regina Sask 2008.

Petunia moderates size, adds thickness, power and easy fleshing, but brings out style on all of her calves. Louie sired out of a Humbug daughter that had also proven herself calf after calf. 25P’s calves will certainly draw interest in future sales. We will have a 25P X Recruit son out on display this fall……the easiest calf we have ever halter broke! This year’s mating should certainly be a standout as well! A flush candidate for sure!

Vet believes EV25P to be safe to her April 29 exposure to EV RED 5X.

Petunia –X is directly from the Petunia matriarch, 25P and sired by one of EYOT’s most influential bulls, Gem Dandy. 19X had a EV Red 5x heifer calf that stands near the top of the keeper pen. Both 25P and Gem Dandy are some of the easiest fleshing cattle we have ever come across and hopefully this will be passed on.

Vet believes EV 19X to be safe to April 27 AI breeding of SGRI CONSTELLATION T310 ET.

Gracie is an easy fleshing, consistent producer that Sarah purchased from Nicole Hollman at a Farm Fair selection sale. This WGG JUST GET-N-GO 90J daughter is deep bodied, with lots of volume that she puts into her calves.

Here is a sweetheart  that is really hard to let go. This Dandy sired gal is out of a great looking “Bouncer” daughter that Kate did extremely well with in 4-H. 49X goes back to WGG JUST BLACK & BOLD 107J, the matriarch of many of our blacks.

Reann 64R is a real sweetheart, clean, tidy and a heck of a producer. This gal goes back to our “Bouncer” foundation cow  EV Max-M 29M, who at 10 years old is still in the herd with a great udder, great feet and doing well. This LWHF Fearless daughter is a pasture standout and great EPDs.

Here is your chance on a EV Humdinger 119M daughter! Stone Gate Farm has had great success with Humdinger offspring and this gal exemplifies the “Dinger” stamp…easy fleshing, deep bodied with lots of muscle. Foxy’s bull calf for this year exemplifies what she does consistently, he should be out and about this fall for display.  Her daughter, EV53U is also in the sale. Again, would certainly look forward to this year’s mating.

Another easy fleshing gal with “Dinger” and Gem Dandy’s sire in her background. Her 2012 heifer calf is another keeper and her previous heifer was selected for the 2011 Wishlist Sale. This gal is certainly worth lots of consideration.

Another one hard to let go…..this gal is from Gem Dandy’s dam and goes back to the Humbug son, Humbugger 306P, two amazing standouts at EYOT. 66U had a super thick, deep bull calf last year, however we lost him just after weaning. This years “Meeko” son shows what Fancy Bug can do.

We bought this fancy little heifer at the 2011 Wishlist Sale and Lory didn’t disappoint us. She calved right up at the front of the herd and seems to have bred back just as quickly. Her AI service should be quite interesting along with the pedigree this gal has.

Lady Hum is out of a Humdinger son, “Hummer” out of KDK 63J. Hard to let go of this easy fleshing gal, with her pedigree, however, luckily we have a 2011 and a 2012 daughter to keep back. Another interesting breeding that could prove quite profitable….Vet believes pregnancy to be a bull calf.
